Finding the chic in everyday life

I love eating, cooking, crafting, zumbaing, ice skating, and lots of other randomness.

First generation organic.

Since December 2008, I've lost 15 lbs and I hope to continue my healthy habits of nutritious eating + frequent, fun exercising.

I LOVE the tulsi jasmine tea :)

Lily @ Lily's Health Pad

Sweet rose tea sounds so refreshing. I've got to try that!

Kudos to you and your bake sale. You're doing a great thing.

Marie

I have never tried Tulsi tea but it sounds good! After reading about it on your blog, I did just buy some hemp seeds, chia seeds and flax seeds.

Do you put your seeds in the refrigerator?

Diana @ The Chic Life

I store my chia seeds in my pantry. The flaxseeds should be kept in the freezer as the oils make tem spoil faster (sort of like nuts). The hemp seeds I got said on the package to store after opening in the fridge so that's where I keep those.

HTH!

Earthfare looks great !

I love, love, love to bake vegan cupcakes. I have the book Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World, and it has some amazing flavors. Especially the rosewater cupcakes...so yummy!

tulsi is basil.
it has a lot of healing properties - and fresh tulsi/basil juice clears up the skin - like that!

Rebecca

Well, whatdya know Diana, we also have a "peninsula" in our newly remodeled kitchen. We didn't have enough space at the center to install an island there, so we decided to affix it to a wall. That's how it was when we did our kitchen remodeling. MN-based construction management agents let us select where everything went. We even chose the materials and the items to be bought. My wife actually got surprised that being our own contractor can be easy after all. You might find her remodeling Minnesota kitchens some day.
