Finding the chic in everyday life

I love eating, cooking, crafting, zumbaing, ice skating, and lots of other randomness.

First generation organic.

Since December 2008, I've lost 15 lbs and I hope to continue my healthy habits of nutritious eating + frequent, fun exercising.

This is such a great post! It's like on outline for your pantry to help with this challange and basically just get your kitchen in check. Love it!

I LOVE THIS!

I just did a major grocery shop myself and kind of flipped out about how much I spent but in reality it was only a couple of nights of dinners out. It just seems like a lot. I'm going to reference this list a lot this month.

You should try Rising Moon Organics products, they're really yummy!

I also keep frozen fruit (smoothies, "crisp" when topped with granola and baked for breakfasts and desserts, etc) and veggies on hand... Also a variety of cereals. When I'm too rushed to make oats, I just heat up some milk in the micro and still get that warm breakfast I often crave!

omigosh, I just realized that Eat In Month means "make your own coffee" month and "stop wasting money on Starbucks" month... eek :)

Great tips!!

Fantastic post! I really need to do a good stock up. My pantry is so bare right now, this has motivated me to make a Trader Joe run in the morning! :)

My first day of Eat In Month went extremely well - woohoo! :)

Oh, and you mentioned the ToDo app on iPhone. I just switched from that to Amazing Note, have you tried it? I think it was like $2 but it's the most amazing note & to do app I have yet to find!

EatingRD

great tips!! Can I come shop at your kitchen? It's like a little mini grocery lol :)

I definitely love Earthfare! :) Looks like you got some great items.

I love bars. Some of my favorites are Larabars, Purebars, and the Clif Nectar bars (not being made anymore though and Earthfare is closing them out. sadness), and Bora Bora bars. Always on sale though, since they're a bit pricey. I recently splurged on some Amazing Grass Superfood bars that were delicious, but at almost $3 each they will not be a mainstay.

Other pantry favorites include boxed indian meals, salsa, sunshine burgers (freezer item actually) and lots of nuts, seeds, and nut & seed butters of all kinds. :) Hope you love the hemp seeds! They are one of my favorites :)

Nice blog! I enjoyed your post!
