Finding the chic in everyday life

I love eating, cooking, crafting, zumbaing, ice skating, and lots of other randomness.

First generation organic.

Since December 2008, I've lost 15 lbs and I hope to continue my healthy habits of nutritious eating + frequent, fun exercising.

Love your yard - so great for your dog. The closest I can come to your flower is a Golden Datura. It sure looks like that family. When I was in Montecito/Santa Barbara a month ago, there was one hanging outside our window at the 1929 remodeled property we stayed at. There's incredible foliage surrounding all the homes in that area.

Kind of cheapy - but you can buy temporary paper shades for your windows at Home Depot til you get curtains and shades for your house. That is what my friend did. Probably not the most environmentally conscious decision but it really helped with privacy until she had the time to pick out the curtains she waned all over her hosue.

Check out your yard! Looks great :)
I hear you re. furniture. We have most of it, but no bookshelves yet, so live with a corner of piled up books and magazines covered by a large white table cloth! Oh la la. But we'll get there, and I look forward to seeing your home unfurl as you go.
