Finding the chic in everyday life

I love eating, cooking, crafting, zumbaing, ice skating, and lots of other randomness.

First generation organic.

Since December 2008, I've lost 15 lbs and I hope to continue my healthy habits of nutritious eating + frequent, fun exercising.

I love going to Barnes to pick up new mags. Those are some funky mushrooms! lol

The house looks great! Can't wait to see as more progress is made!

I make my own masks for my face. Greek Yoghurt, oatmeal and 'cado. Grind the oats (they act as an exfoliant) and miz all ingredients together, apply and let it set. Was off and you are done.

Natural and cheap, which can not be beat:)

Congrat's on the house coming together. We took one of the bedrooms and made it a dressing room/changing room too since all the closets were too small and narrow. You will love having a big wide open room to see all your clothes. We had a closet designer come in and install rods and shelves all over, so enjoy!

Congrats on your house Diana, that is sooo exciting and fun to get it all fixed up.

I totally agree with you on the magazine love, I could spend weeks in Chapters looking through all the mags!!

wow your place looks like it's going to be great! i'm so glad you are environmentally friendly - when I moved to NY 4 weeks ago I was shocked at the number of people that didn't even recycle !!!!!

It's hard to see the blue flowers; however, I'd bet they're not a weed as the yellow ones look like a Rudbeckia coneflower type variety. We have lots of Black-eye Susans in our yard in the Fall. Your new house is coming along - very lovely and good plan to do the work before you move in.
