Finding the chic in everyday life

I love eating, cooking, crafting, zumbaing, ice skating, and lots of other randomness.

First generation organic.

Since December 2008, I've lost 15 lbs and I hope to continue my healthy habits of nutritious eating + frequent, fun exercising.

The mac & cheese looks delicious and now I'm going to be craving baklava! Looks like you had a great day. : )

I hate moving! I find it so stressful. But, I do have a few guidelines I use. I usually go room by room and pack up one room in several boxes and label them, and then go to the next room. I find it easier to unpack that way. My husband, on the other hand, mixes everything up because he tries to make the boxes not too heavy that the break. That would be great if everything from the same room is in one box, but when you have pots and pans with towels and sheets, that makes me nuts a little. LOL

Not a comment re:packing but on your iced coffee drink. My guess is they used either sweetened condensed or evaporated milk as they would give you a quick froth along with the ice. (I think the Sunshine brand can (and more stacked in the back) is the canned milk. Not sure what's in the 'butter' can with the scoop - flavoring? My dad always used canned milk for his coffee when I was little and my daughter uses Nescafe for a quick instant coffee.

Hi there - just found your blog! My advice for moving (moved 5 times in 5 years) is label, label, label boxes! And get rid of any extra junk you have laying around. Moving is always a great opportunity to purge!

Moving always reminds me of things I deem essential, only to forget about them. Good way to realize what you really need/like...
