Have chia seeds? Cook them in your oats...they are AWESOME!
Before
- 1/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 1 tsp chia seeds
- 1/2 cup water
- pinch flaxseed
Microwave 2 minutes (I prefer stove top but am pressed for time during the work week)
AFTER!!!
Stir in:
- 1 sliced banana
- skim milk
Tiny gelatinous chia seeds
Toppings = drizzle of agave, sliced almonds, ground flaxseed
So simple yet so good! I made this using stuff from my pantry!
With coffee and skim milk (for calcium!) - perfect breakfast!
Perfect!!!! I love this! I bought white chia seeds and have been sneaking them in my hubbys oats with no notice! I love the texture!
