I found out yesterday that I'm going to Minneapolis for work...uuuhhh...next week! Short notice, no? I'm pretty excited, though, because I've never been to Minneapolis. I'm only going for 2 days and can't afford to stay through the weekend, so unfortunately, I don't think I'll have nearly the same adventure I had in San Fran , but I'll still have fun and hopefully some good eats.
Does any one have any Minneapolis restaurant/eats recommendations?
Hi there! Just discovered you through Sonya over at Dime Store Thrift . . . .congratulations on the One Lovely Blog Award ;o) I'm trying to get out and about and meet some new "thrifty" friends who love vintage and retro "stuff." I'll be back for a visit! Nina @ mamas*little*treasures

Incase you don't read this blog...you might get some good suggestions by asking Iowa Girl.

OK...I LOVE Minneapolis. We lived there, TWICE, and visit several times a year.
I love, love, love Good Day for breakfasts...The Convention Grill for lunches and Benihanas for a cool entertaining yummy supper.
Ikea has a really good cafeteria in the store as well.
ENJOY YOUR TRIP and travel safe!

I hope you're having a good time -- Minneapolis is fantastic! If the weather is beautiful, try to take time to walk around the three lakes (Calhoun, Harriet and I've forgotten the other one) -- they're gorgeous!
