Finding the chic in everyday life

I love eating, cooking, crafting, zumbaing, ice skating, and lots of other randomness.

First generation organic.

Since December 2008, I've lost 15 lbs and I hope to continue my healthy habits of nutritious eating + frequent, fun exercising.

Oooh yum! I love oatmeal. And I'll substitute your pomegranate tea for my blueberry version that just arrived last night. Somehow, adding choc. chips to oatmeal seems like cheating LOL.

You always have the most yummy and delish-looking recipes on your blog! Love it! Here's a link to a recipe for "Okayu" - Japanese rice porridge I thought you'd might like if -God forbid- you ever get sick. I've made this and it tastes a lot better than it looks. (kind bland looking but very good for an upset stomach)

Kath has me adding Barney Butter to my oatmeal too! Just this morning I did that. I make my oatmeal for me and my husband with fat free vanilla soy milk and added a banana split between us, raisins, craisins, walnuts or almonds and a single serving packet of Barney Butter's almond butter split between us. Then later when I get to work I'll buy a Starbucks Tazo Tea in the "Awake" flavor. It's black tea but it has a full bodied flavor not weak like some black teas. That pomegranate tea looks delish!! I think I will look for that one to add to my tea collection.

how great that you can work from home..... everybody should be able to do that at least one or two days a week. I'll be even the driving time could offer a few more hours of productive time...

little Bailey is soooooo cute.... I love his sweet, inquiring face..

oh.....and if you actually need snow.... it is coming down here again..... a new winter wonderland this morning.... but, strangely, it will be warm enough to melt it by tomorrow and for the next 3 days. Doesn't mean it is spring though... as last January 31... the temp matched the date...it was a freezing -31C !!!
