Finding the chic in everyday life

I love eating, cooking, crafting, zumbaing, ice skating, and lots of other randomness.

First generation organic.

Since December 2008, I've lost 15 lbs and I hope to continue my healthy habits of nutritious eating + frequent, fun exercising.

Okay.... here is my method of freezing blueberries.
If you have to wash them... then just roll them around on a paper towel a bit. Place them on big cookie sheet..put it in the freezer.. (make sure it stays flat and they don't all roll off! )A few hours later.. or tomorrow... when they are all frozen... put them into baggies, tie them and pop them right back into the freezer. If you work fairly quickly there is no time for them to thaw.I usually put a bunch of little baggies into a large bag that seals.

I had a special recipe in mind for my effort..but, so far have not been able to find it. However, I do have a back up....

Those blueberries look wonderful. I've been adding them to my oatmeal this week -- I've been surprised that they aren't as sweet as I thought they'd be. I'm hoping to make my favorite blueberry recipe this week too!

I love those blueberry shots Diana, you really captured the colours so well. You are such an inspiration with all of your healthy eating, good for you. I say go for the yoga, you will probably love it. I wonder if you could take Bails? They just might have doggie yoga, ha ha!!

As you can tell, I am terrible at getting around to photographing stuff, however I will say in all honesty, I did make a pumpkin-banana smoothie and bought 2 containers of blueberries this weekend (on sale!) so I've been having them in my cereal or oatmeal every morning. I never thought about freezing them though. I think that would make yogurt taste extra delish.

Now, just visualize a picture - LOL

Those blueberries look amazing, but I must admit, the pizza makes my mouth water...

I too enjoy Wallaby yogurt! The plain is a lot less "tangy" than most plain yogurts out there :)
